May I suggest to those of you living down south, considering procreation - Don't plan for an August birth!! It makes birthday parties excruciatingly HOT! Thank god my mom has a pool!!
The kids had a blast. I think there were 10 kids in total. Lee's little sisters & brother were down from Ohio to add to the head count.
Cake time is the right time!!! I discovered that cupcakes are the same price, you don't have to cut them & they are less mess!!!
Lee grilled hot dogs & hamburers. He was brave to stand by the hot grill and sweat his... well it was hot.

Is flickr givin' you a piece of the action? I don't regret not making it to that humidity-saturated birthday party and I so enjoy getting to "experience" it from the cool indoors. Although I notice a few absent stories here, it sounded like our Mal had an awesome day and that's all that matters! And her celebration continues! Do I need to bring my own sleeping bag or will you be providing bedding?
oh! is the sleepover getting bigger??? I wish i could come :( we could do eachothers hair, nails, make cookies, talk about boys, all while the little kids are locked in the closet.
